Here's what you'll be doing: As a Resource & Production Planner, you'll support the Manager Production at the Rotterdam Maasvlakte location in achieving optimal production processes, focusing primarily on themes that transcend different areas of interest, such as production setup, capacity, efficiency, and process optimizations. You'll assess improvement proposals from various areas of interest holistically, playing an analytical and advisory role. You'll act as a liaison between different areas of interest in Production and PT&I, Operations Office, and you'll also be responsible for resource planning (people and machines) for the entire production.

The Operations Management, Coordination, and Production department is responsible for producing complete monopiles or semi-finished products for offshore foundations for wind turbines and oil and gas platforms. Hulls are rolled from large plates, which are then welded together through machining and milling to form sections, and these sections are assembled into monopiles (steel foundations). It's a single-piece production as each monopile has unique dimensions.

Who are you? You'll translate the production planning from Operations Office into detailed planning regarding required disciplines, resources, machinery, and number of employees. You'll advise on operationalizing improvements in processes, required machinery, resources, and production setup. You'll analyze, assess, verify, and advise on changes and optimizations for feasibility and achievability. You'll assess the required number of employees and ensure timely availability of necessary capacity in coordination with HR. You'll collaborate with Managers within the disciplines regarding the flexible deployment of employees based on the plan and ad hoc situations.

Moreover, you have:

• A Bachelor's degree, supplemented with technical knowledge;
• Knowledge of welding techniques and (large) steel constructions;
• VCA-VOL certification;
• Knowledge of production processes and improvement methodologies (such as lean);
• Knowledge of internal processes and procedures;
• Proficiency in the English language.
