What will you do?

As a QC Manager at Sif, you will report to the Business Unit Director and, together with your team, be responsible for inspecting and ensuring quality from order to final acceptance, ensuring compliance with set quality requirements. We have a QC Manager for both our location in Roermond and our site at MV2. You will be working in Roermond.

Together with your team of QC Engineers, you will have an analytical and advisory role regarding quality deviations and ensure compliance with all requirements for (partial) product acceptance with the customer and the as-built dossier. Additionally, you will be part of the Plant MT (Management Team) and help shape the future of the Roermond plant.

Responsibilities:

• Leading the QC team
• Developing, implementing, and maintaining QC procedures and policies
• Conducting audits to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Establishing and managing KPIs and performance indicators for quality and continuous improvement
• Identifying quality issues and initiating corrective actions
• Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and customers regarding quality matters
• Leading training sessions and workshops to increase awareness of quality standards
• Reporting to management on the performance of the QC program
• Being a member of the plant management team

Where will you work?

You will be part of the Quality department in Roermond, responsible for securing services and processes, improving and inspecting quality. The department plays an advisory role during the tender phase regarding quality requirements and evaluates alternative solutions that meet those requirements within the company’s policy and strategy.

Additionally, the department ensures the implementation and maintenance of processes, systems, procedures, and instructions to meet the quality requirements of each project.

At our Roermond location, steel components and end products are manufactured, while at our MV2 site, the complete monopile is assembled and coated for delivery to the customer. Quality control is performed through various measurements, including flange measurements, attachment locations, lengths, diameters, and circumferences, using tools such as an easy laser, total station, and photogrammetry.

You have:

• A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a technical field
• Knowledge of welding techniques and quality systems or the willingness to learn
• Process-oriented thinking and a data-driven mindset
• Experience leading teams in a production environment
• The ambition to elevate QC and, together with the plant MT, take the site to the next level
• A strong command of the English language
